6. Limited functions / known limitations

Box Operator has the following limitations by the model of MFP
   to connect.
   - Function/Item which MFP to connect does not support
is grayed out or displays only an item but not details.
However, even if MFP to connect has no Memory RX User Box Function,
by setup of a display of a tool / option / system box,
it is possible to specify "Displays Memory RX User Box".
But since there is no function in MFP, Memory RX User Box
     cannot be used.

When connecting with B/W MFP, Box Operator can not display the thumbnails
    of files in user box.

When PageScope Box Operator version 2.0.x or version 3.0.00000 or version 3.0.00100 is
installed, please install this version after uninstalling
version 2.0.x or version 3.0.00000 or version 3.0.00100.
Then the settings in version 2.0.x or version 3.0.00000 or version 3.0.00100 will be deleted.
Please remember the settings before uninstallation.

It may take some time to launch the application. In such a case, please perform the following steps.
   1) Launch Internet Explorer
   2) Open Internet Option under tools menu.
   3) Open Advanced tab and turn off the following setting.
       "Check for server certificate revocation"

When "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated" is enabled
at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista/Server 2008,
it is not possible to uninstall program by using "Programs and Features" of Control Panel.
To uninstall program, disable "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated"
at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista/Server 2008, or use "setup.exe" which is used at installation of program.

  Regarding Searchable PDF Rotation Correction:
When the following settings are performed for a document in the MFP used:
   - High level security setting (Encryption for Digital Signature, Digital ID)
   - PDF property settings
and a Searchable PDF with Rotation Correction is retrieved, there is a
possibility of image and text position getting changed.

Depending upon the environment being used, short cut directory to the
application may remain in the Start menu, after the application has been uninstalled.
Because of this there should not be any problem in any of the operations.
If required, please delete it manually.

When executing Move To Folder/Copy To Folder, length of a path of
destination/ target device including file name should be less than 256
(255 or less) one-byte characters or it fails to forward files.
This is by design of the OS(x86).

In order to use "Print after merging files" function,
Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat must be specified as the default program to open the PDF.
Please note that different program is specified as a default for Windows 8.1 / Windows 10.

When the destination device cannot use box related functions for reasons such as the HDD is not installed ,
it cannot be connected from Box Operator.

When PageScope Box Operator version 3.2.25000 is installed,
please install this version after uninstalling version 3.2.25000
  following the message displayed.

When installed on Windows 10 and logged in as a "Standard User"
the Box Operator icon may not appear correctly when the Start Menu is displayed.
You can continue using the application as it is or
the issue can be corrected by logging into Windows 10 as an "Administrator" one time.
The icon will be displayed correctly for all future Standard User logins.
